ETHAN BRYAN author
Ethan D. Bryan is the author of A Year of Playing Catch. In 2018, inspired and encouraged by his daughters, Ethan played catch every day, traveling 12000 miles through 10 states, all for the joy of catch. He has continued to play catch as much as possible, from the Grand Canyon to beaches in Texas to the Field of Dreams Movie Site. He's spoken about the "power of playing catch" at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York and developed a catch-playing mentorship program for students in Springfield, Missouri. He is married to Jamie, and they live at the house with the whale on the fence.
isaac halasima Director
Isaac Halasima is an MLB and long time Mets fan. He has directed award winning music videos and documentaries for Madona, Neon Trees, and Imagine Dragons, including “The Making of Night Visions, which went on to win an MTV and MMVA Award for “Best International Music Video. He recently directed and edited a highly personal film “Waterman” The Duke Kahanamoku Story. Waterman went on to win over 20 film festival awards to eventually play on the PBS American Master’s Series, where it was nominated for an Emmy in 2023.
John murphy Producer/director
John Murphy has always loved playing catch and used it to help ground and calm his mind during trying times. He is a commercial and documentary Producer and Director of 1.000’s of commercials in which he has won countless awards including two National Gold Addy’s. His documentary work includes Executive Producing and Producing BYUTV’s Turning Point an Emmy Award winning series. He recently Line Produced “Waterman” a feature length documentary for PBS’s American Masters, which was nominated for an Emmy.
